Kids Ministry at Rock Creek Church
Welcome to Basecamp Kids!
At Rock Creek Church our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. Our kids have their own programs, but are an integral part of the Rock Creek Church community.
Basecamp Kids Programs are offered for kids birth through 5th grade. We make your children’s safety one of our top priorities! All of our volunteers working with minors have passed Colorado State background checks. We also have a detailed check-in process for our Basecamp program the first time that you visit, so you’ll want to leave yourself an extra 10 minutes to get your family checked-in for the Basecamp experience.
We would love to see you and your family visit Basecamp Kids.
Your first visit
Here's what to expect when visiting with kids for the first time:
First, let one of our front door greeters know it's your first time. They will guide your family to the check in area where you can meet our Basecamp Team, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
Meet our Children's Pastor
Wendy Steele started attending Rock Creek Church with her family in 2019 and joined the leadership team in 2021. She oversees all of our Basecamp Ministries (0-5th grade) during our Sunday services. She and her husband, Tim, have two adult kids, and she likes to garden and go to concerts.
